Dr.
Yoshiharu Shindo graduated from the Osaka University Medical
Department in 1948. He earned his medical license the following
year and began practicing as an ear, nose & throat specialist
while concurrently developing medical treatments based on
oriental practices. In 1972, he became a vice-director of
Komaki City Hospital. In 1981, he left his position at the
hospital to devote himself fully to Hie-Tori practice
and treatment, and to publish his books, Dr. Shindo maintains
his practice and conducts lectures throughout Japan. His books
have been translated into both Korean and Chinese.
