The common cold is the body's natural way of the cleansing itself
According
to the Hie-Tori practice the common cold is used by the body
to eliminate poisonous waste. This waste comes out in the form
of various symptoms such as a headache runny nose sneezing
coughing or loosening of the bowels. Therefore it is unwise
to use cold medicine to prevent this natural elimination process
from occurring. When using medicine to suppress cold symptoms
the body's poisonous waste will actually remain in the body
and only postpones suffering until a later time. Be patient
and wait until the cold runs its course and the natural cleansing
process is over.
People often say that they caught a cold or
had a fever after they started wearing socks. This is because
your internal organs are healthier and start working actively
through the upper half of the body cool and the lower half
of the body warm (Zukan-Sokunetsu). The poisonous waste that
could not get out from your body before starts to come out.
The result is a reduction in poisonous waste and a healthier
body. In Japan it is said that the common cold is the origin
of all illnesses and should be treated early. You will be
fine as long as you keep your feet warm and avoid overeating.
